Yolanda Wood

Yolanda Wood is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Virginia. She received her Master’s degree from St. Leo University. The heart of her work begins with creating a safe space that allows you to feel heard and understood, without judgment, while being transformed into a better version of yourself.

As a military veteran, I have over 25 years of experience in mentoring and guiding individuals through life’s challenges. This is what lead me to become a therapist. My approach is integrative, holistic, relational, and spiritual if you are faith-based. I love helping people navigate through a range of issues including unresolved trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other life transitions that may be hindering or triggering in your progress. The heart of my work begins with creating a safe space that allows you to feel heard and understood, without judgment, while being transformed into a better version of yourself.
