Rhonda’s career is distinguished by a passionate commitment to serving diverse populations in both public and private sectors. She began her professional journey by working with youth and families who have experienced sexual trauma and abuse in Baltimore City. Throughout her career, Rhonda has provided support to children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings, including serving as the Clinical Director of one of Maryland’s largest outpatient mental health clinics.

Notably, Rhonda has extensive experience working with children of all ages and has played a pivotal role in schools, providing interventions for both general and special education students. Prior to transitioning to private practice, Rhonda served at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, offering therapy to active-duty service members and retirees. Her areas of expertise include working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders.

Beyond her clinical work, Rhonda actively engages in efforts to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges. She has served as an Expert Provider for the government’s Supporting Youth with Incarcerated Parents program and conducted numerous workshops and trainings on mental health topics. Rhonda is also dedicated to the professional growth of other mental health professionals, providing supervision and consultation to those who share her commitment to service.
